“This is insane. I can’t sign this. I’m not some object.”
Jungkook’s expression darkened, the sinister spark igniting. “You don’t have a choice. I’ve already learned about you orphaned, alone, no friends. Your cafe is doing well, but one word from me, and it could crumble. Sponsors pulled, bad reviews flooding in. Or worse, your allergies… I have ways to make life difficult.”
Threats.
Manipulation.
Y/N’s trauma flared memories of betrayal making her panic. “No! I won’t!” She bolted for the door, heart pounding.
But Jungkook was faster. He grabbed her arm, pulling her back into his chest, holding her tightly.
His arms were like steel bands, his breath warm against her ear. “Shh, don’t run. Think about it. I’m your bias, right? You admire me my voice, my dance, my everything. This is your chance to be close to me. Forever. I’ll take care of you. No more loneliness. Just us.”
She struggled, tears streaming. “Let go! This isn’t right.” His grip softened slightly, but he didn’t release her.
“Sign it, Y/N. Or lose everything. Your smile belongs to me now.”
